David Cameron had already mentioned earlier that 400 troops from the UK would return to the UK in July.
Now another statement has been made by Carole Walker from the BBC that has come to the conclusion in an interview with the chief of staff that there will be a larger number of troops returning to the UK.
The US has decided that 10.000 troops will return back to the US at the end of 2011 and another 23.000 troops will return in 2012.
I think it's good that more and more troops are returning as it's gradually going better in Libya and there is less need for protection from the other countries. For the families of the troops that are currently in Libya all of this must be a relief to see that their member of the family might soon be returning to the warmth of his/her family. In my oppinion a lot more troops should have already been pulled back, as the US already has plenty of troops currently stationed in Libya.
